I am a European. My particular interests follow Particle Physics and Cosmology, more specifically the unification of their almost century-old conflicting components, Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity. My more general interests include music (Blues/Jazz/Classical guitar), mountaineering, geo-politics, football and genealogy. My day job is in the design, construction and operation of sub-atomic particle detectors and associated data analysis.
