I like Wikipedia's Good article process - it's a lightweight and simple way of ensuring articles meet a basic quality standard; they are easy to read, factually accurate and cover the essentials of a topic. I made significant contributions to these articles, sometimes doing the majority of edits, sometimes working in a team. I have all of these articles on my watchlist so I keep an eye on developments, but there is always room for improvement and if you want to improve them further, please do!
