The Bike Club is a British online bicycle rental company. It delivers bicycles to customers with children aged between one and fourteen, and allows them to exchange the bicycles for a larger size when their children grow out of the bicycles.[1] Returned bicycles are refurbished and sent to other customers. The company is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.[2]

The company was founded in 2016 by a couple from London, James Symes, a former KPMG accountant, and Alexandra Rico-Lloyd, a former employee of the Mayor of London. The company raised £1 million in seed funding in January 2019, in a funding round led by Mike Balfour, founder of Fitness First.[3] In March 2020, it raised £614,000 through a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, before raising a further £5.7 million in September 2020.[4][5]
