Intro

Hello... My name is Scott and I've spent most of my career in the online services industry. While still in school, I had the opportunity to work with early videotext systems and was a product developer at seminal online services company, Prodigy. After leaving there I got to experience both extremes of the Internet. A crash and burn start-up, followed by being one of the 20 founders of leading consumer web service About.com gave me a great vantage point to experience the growth pangs of the online industry. As well, doing my own consulting for awhile was fun to check out the 'net perspective between companies large and small. After spending time founding yet another start up, (this time for identity credentialing and predictive risk analysis products), I'm back doing search engine product management again.

I've created a couple of Wiki articles and have edited a few others in the few times I've had something I thought worth adding. The whole Wikipedia thing is just an amazing thing and I hope to do more with it when I have a chance.
