I am Sixth Star and this is my page. I mainly stick to the automotive categories of Wikipedia, as that is what I am most interested in, but occasionally I drift elsewhere. I correct mistakes, add new information, and remove opinionated jargon. I only get on about once a week to see if I have any messages or to make sure no one has screwed up any of my articles or posted opinionated and false information on my multitude of watched pages. I am an ordained minister, and was a computer technician for a few years on the side. I have been a Macintosh user since the Apple II, but only switched completely in 1996. I shall never revert back to Microsoft Windows, and feel sorry for all who continue to use its overcomplicated and antiquated structure.
I have been working on cars since I was old enough to hand wrenches to my father and learned to drive on a 1957 Pontiac when I was in elementary school.
I became a mechanic in my grandfathers small engine shop by day and helped him restore antique cars at night when I was in High School. I was certified Briggs & Stratton, Husqvarna, Kohler, McCulloch, Poulan, and Stihl.
I left and went to college and started my own small business selling parts, doing repair, and customization on the side.
I worked for McCulloch Motors Corporation briefly after college as master tech of their hanheld equipment division.
I go through cars like socks, I get a new one, use it a while, and get rid of it.
I used to repair Jeep, Nissan, and Toyota when I was a teenager, and still tinker with them.
As a mechanic I once worked on a 1981 Subaru Leone and fell head-over-heels for Subaru!!! I worked for Subaru-Isuzu Automotive before they split and then followed Subaru, working at dealers both as a salesman and as a mechanic. I am now totally an independent.
