Working Life

[edit]

I spent eight years working for the Pittsburgh Penguins in Media Relations, then left the team during the 2004-2005 hockey lockout to work in TV sports as a producer. In my free time, I volunteer at an animal adoption clinic, belong to a curling league, and recently discovered a little thing on the internet called Wikipedia.

Graduate School

[edit]

I earned my Master of Arts degree in Journalism from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2001. I wrote my thesis on Russian Journalism in the Twentieth Century, wrote and produced an award-winning half-hour documentary on Three Rivers Stadium, and graduated at the top of my class.

University

[edit]

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Clarion University in Clarion, PA. I worked as a morning show DJ for the campus FM-radio station, and played right wing on the college hockey team.

High School

[edit]

So long ago now that it doesn't even matter, I graduated from North Allegheny High School in Wexford, PA.
