Ceramics of the Chorrera culture
The university has a small museum located in the Architecture school with statues of diverse Ecuadorian cultures. All the ceramics belong to different cultures such as: la Tolita, Jama- coaque, Bahia, Guangala, Valdivia, Machalilla and Chorrera. The owner of this duplicated collection of ceramics is Guillermo Hurel, a teacher of the university. The purpose of this collection is to encourage students to learn more about the antique cultures of Ecuador and the development of the ceramics.
