VANESSA MICHELLE SANDOVAL ROQUERO, M.D. was born in Manila on November 22, 1973.

Doc Van as she is fondly called, finished her primary and secondary education at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila. She earned her degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology at Far Eastern University and completed her Doctor of Medicine at Our Lady of Fatima University.

A Pediatrician by profession and is the eldest child of the late 1st City Mayor and Congressman, Eduardo Valenzuela Roquero, M.D., of the 1st City in Bulacan San Jose del Monte and Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Dr. Isabelita Sandoval Roquero. She is a Solo Parent to 25 year old son named Joffri Edward Luriz. She is the former Secretary and District Director of Bulacan Medical Society for two years. As a Professional, she has also served at the Ospital ng Lungsod ng San Jose del Monte for a period of nine (9) years from 2010 to 2019. Currently, she is the Administrative Assistant of Dr. Eduardo V. Roquero Memorial Hospital. Her leadership within the medical community demonstrates her commitment to healthcare and community well-being. Doc Van Roquero is a proud member of Inner Wheel Club of San Jose del Monte District 377 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles actively participating in local events, celebrations, and community-building initiatives. In 2020, she was recognized as one of the Tanglaw Bayani Awardee.

At present, she is on her 2nd Term as City Councilor of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The Chairperson of City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Committee on Urban Poor and Human Rights, and Co-Chairman of the Committee on Health of the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod. Dr. Vanessa “Doc Van” S. Roquero is a dedicated Public Servant, committed to improving the lives of the people in her community which she serves, advocating the policies that uplift her constituents. Her multifaceted roles demonstrate her commitment to a flourishing San Jose del Monte.
