Manuel Gardner Fernandes (November 19th 1995) is a German guitarist from Mainz and currently based in Mannheim.
Career

[edit]Manuel moved several times throughout his childhood and changed his circle of friends frequently. Accordingly, he met several different musicians through his youth and attended several music schools. At the age of 14 he finished guitar lessons and continued to teach himself. Manuel started producing at the age of 16. He produced, mixed and mastered the first albums of his band himself and has had several jobs as a sound engineer since then. His grandfather and father brought the musical background into his life, since both also played in bands at a young age and were on tour. His passion for guitar, renewed with broad interest in music, continued in his college education. There he explored numerous styles of music including soul, country, funk, jazz and fusion, inspired by guitarists like Mateus Asato, Guthrie Govan, Tim Henson, Ichika Nito, Tosin Abasi and many more.

There he explored numerous styles of music including soul, country, funk, jazz and fusion, inspired by guitarists like Mateus Asato, Guthrie Govan, Tim Henson, Ichika Nito, Tosin Abasi and many more. Manuel is also known for his work with his progressive metal band, Unprocessed. Unprocessed is a progressive metal band from Wiesbaden, Germany touring internationally.

[edit]In 2019, a few of Manuels guitar playing videos on Instagram went viral which lead an increase 200 k followers on his account. Platforms like 9gag have partly led to the international spreading of his videos.
