Your nominations are spurious. Being found disruptive months after creating categories is not a valid reason for deleting them. Please close your nominations immediately. I have commented on the first one, but frankly, a wholesale listing like that is also bordering on the disruptive. ——Serial Number 54129 17:20, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that Векочел, I respect that. As a compromise, let's leave that one open (I will adjust my comment) and see if it gains traction; I could always be wong... Thanks again. ——Serial Number 54129 17:26, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Sons of princesses regnant indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 14:34, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hadrian's marriage[edit]

Well caught! That was a truly egregious error... Amazing how long these things can go undetected. Haploidavey (talk) 12:00, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing[edit]

Please do not remove any more images of the Japanese Emperors without establishing a consensus to do so. In many cases there are no contemporary depictions in existance which is akin to Christopher Columbus where a visual is helpful to the reader when it's referenced by historians. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:28, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Columbus's portrait, at least, was painted relatively shortly after his death. The pictures of Japanese emperors which I removed were drawn hundreds of years after the subjects lived. Векочел (talk) 19:44, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Tony Blair shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Information icon Hello! I'm EmilySarah99. Your recent edit(s) to the page Mary II appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Mary was heir apparent during her joint reign. If her husband were to die, she would continue reigning as sole monarch. This is stated on the category page. EmilySarah99 (talk) 11:09, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Category:19th-century kings of Italy, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Please dont massively add categories like this Mason (talk) 04:22, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please review how categories work before you massively add religions. This is a case of overcategorization. You should add these categories to the individual pages, not the the category. Mason (talk) 04:36, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Preview – Consolidate – Summarize[edit]

Hello- Below are a few editing suggestions to make it easier for you and others to collaborate on the encyclopedia. Please preview, consolidate, and summarize your edits:

  • Try to consolidate your edits, at least at the section level, to avoid cluttering the page's edit history; this makes it easier for your fellow editors to understand your intentions, and makes it easier for those monitoring activity on the article.
    • The show preview button (beside the "publish changes" button) is helpful for this; use it to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits.
  • Please remember to explain each edit with an edit summary (box above the "publish changes" button).

Thanks in advance for considering these suggestions. Eric talk 14:19, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
