RE: Link spam
[edit]I spent the last 7 years working on my website, doing research and posting articles. I moderated three message boards and posted one article after the other and shared them with everybody when there was no Robotech.com and information was scarce. I'm not a kid you know. Now, some people claim them their own or common knowledge since the board went down and i postponed the site for personal projects. I'm not gonna accept that. I'll restore every single link I can prove that contains some of my source material, you can debate them all if you want. They've been online for 7 years and were seen by thousands of people. If they are not somewhere else besides my computer, I won't, simply as that. It's not my intention to get into an endless argument. By the way, my site has 138 pages of pure and accurate information, do you consider a link to them spam? Have you seen them all? Have you noticed I always included source references and gave proper credits? Were they useless in comparison to the other links posted? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gishdukat (talk • contribs) 04:16, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

- Please refer to Wikipedia:Spam. Spam can be links to your own private website, which you have just acknowledged as such. Wikipedia is not a mere collection of external links. Good catch!
[edit]Good catch on the Golg Bodolza/Boddole Zer spelling changes in the The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Boddole Zer, and Dolza articles! Not only did you quickly catch the changes (across multiple user names no less!), but you were also very polite about it. Kudos to you, sir! --Kralizec! (talk) 21:52, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Release dates
[edit]Hi there. Given our disagreement over the Robotech article, I would appreciate your input on a discussion of limited/wide release dates over here. Esn 09:53, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Lagrange points
[edit]I know nothing at all about Robotech, but I just want to say that I loved your clarifying comment (assuming it's accurate) on the Lagrange points article. :)
AfD nomination of Unseen character
[edit]An editor has nominated Unseen character, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Unseen character (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 13:00, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Kinglehr
[edit]Hey,
If you disagree with my use of equivalent, then give a reason. Don't go changing things around for stuff you never even started without at least discussing it with those involved in the edits. I have a specific discussion in Max Sterling. Kinglehr (talk) 07:49, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I tire of thisRobotech Edit War
[edit]Look I removed those links for a very good reason
1. Those links fail the reliable sources criteria see WP:RELIABLE
2. Secondly the sources fell under self published material see WP:SELFPUB
3.If that still is not good enough for see discussion here [1]

Macross II references in Macross Frontier...
[edit]What I've posted in the Macross Parallels sections are facts, not fan speculation. We are talking about references/tributes/nods to other Macross shows or productions that are part of the franchise, not debating about books nor canonity nor continuity. As far as I know Macross II has been officially aproved by Studio Nue as part of the franchise, wether you like it or not (even Shoji Kawamori himself has admitted to like that OVA series). The Macross II OVA is the only other animated production prior to Macross Frontier that clearly shows the name NUNS in big capital letters (have you actually watched it? I have). The fighter flown by Captain Wilen at the end of episode 6 is clearly a VF-2SS with some new canards and a fold booster. The Macross Compendium is oficially aproved by Studio Nue, believe it or not (that's why despite being a wiki is constantly revised/corrected). Stop editing my contributions just for editing sake...Kronnang Dunn (talk) 21:16, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
SDF-1 Macross article
[edit]I noticed you erased the Studio Nue staff reference from the SDF-1 article. Each and every piece of SDF-1 pre-production and final design art in the Macross Perfect Memory has Miyatake's signature on them (the one that looks like a big M). Also, there's a sample of Miyatake's art in page 248. I included the Staff reference because the sample art in said page is necessary for anybody interested in looking for the original designer of the SDF-1 to understand the fact that Miyatake designed the craft. I also included the "Macross and Orguss Design Works" book by Kazutaka Miyatake (which also contains each and every SDF-1 pre-production and final design art by him that was shown previously in the "Macross Perfect Memory") as reference too. Is a book that officialy contains Miyatake art exclusively. Kronnang Dunn (talk) 07:41, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Bruno J. Global references
[edit]May I ask why the references I placed in the Bruno J. Global article don't meet Wikipedia's standards and were removed? If you watch the episode, the website I cited is accurate on the events of the story.

AfD nomination of MyAnimeList
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is MyAnimeList. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MyAnimeList (3rd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:21, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Macross II TP
[edit]Could you restore the contents of the entire talk page? One version I saw had threads dating back to 2005, but the latest version only has those from 2009. I advised Nihonjoe earlier about this, but Xqbot's redirect did not account for every last thread. thanks.--Eaglestorm (talk) 13:44, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
Do you want to save the Macross articles by transwiking them to wikia? Its easy.
[edit]Two articles are nominated now, and dozens of others in the series will soon be nominated for the same reasons. If you are are interested in the series, and want to save the articles, you can adopt the abandoned macross.wikia.com and then easily Special:Export the Wikipedia articles in the Category:Macross_characters all at once, and then import them to the wikia. Very simple progress to do. I'd do it myself, but I recently adopted the manga wikia, and you can't adopt two within a short period of time. I saved Voltron articles when they were threatened, and that wikia has expanded nicely since then and really filled out. http://voltron.wikia.com/wiki/Voltron_Wiki The Wikia has over 30 million hits a month, and is ever growing in popularity, as people find that information they formerly enjoyed reading here has been deleted from Wikipedia, and is now found over there instead. You just go to http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption and ask to adopt the Macross wikia. Make a few edits there to show you are serious, and they'll let you have it, no one else editing there for more than a year and it basically just a stub. If you need help importing things, you can appoint others as administrators, which gives them the right to use the import tools. I'll help you if you have problems with anything.
