[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello, I'm Joshua Jonathan. I noticed that you recently removed content from B. B. Lal without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, I'm Tayi Arajakate. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Democratic backsliding, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tayi Arajakate Talk 17:07, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Democratic backsliding. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Tayi Arajakate Talk 17:40, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

@Tayi Arajakate: How is it original research? I sourced it properly. First time, I agree, my sources were not so good and you pointed it out. But this time are the sources not all right? 183.83.146.194 (talk) 01:49, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
@Tayi Arajakate: Please explain, so that I can correct in future. 183.83.146.194 (talk) 06:19, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- If you click on the link to original research, you will find that it states " any analysis or synthesis of published material that serves to reach or imply a conclusion not stated by the sources."
- In Special:Diff/1017419370, you added the line "However, most other democracy watchdogs still generally consider India a democracy." This isn't verifiable from the citations you provided, one links to a no found error page on Freedom House and the other is the home page of the Economist Intelligence Unit. Both are primary sources in this instance and can only be used to refer to their rating/standing. Tayi Arajakate Talk 06:30, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
Just putting this here

[edit]Hello, I'm NightWolf1223. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Battle of Cynoscephalae have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. NW1223 | Howl at me 14:34, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
