Hello, I'm CommanderWaterford. I noticed that in this edit to Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CommanderWaterford (talk) 13:45, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi 197.231.201.171! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Ishaaq bin Ahmed several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Ishaaq bin Ahmed, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Can we please discuss these changes if you believe they are correct?. Thanks,NeuropolTalk 13:24, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ishaaq bin Ahmed. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Thanks,NeuropolTalk 13:31, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm updating information on Wikipedia instead of removing any of it. This is untrue information regarding the Shiekh Ishaaq family. Asking me for details or explanations regarding the Shiekh Ishaaq family would be greatly appreciated. 197.231.201.171 (talk) 13:41, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, please, and please, we are correcting the origon of Shiekh Ishaaq. Its origin is Shiekh Ishaaq bin Ahmed bin Muhammad Hanfitre Maha Dir, and it is the second son of Dir (Abokor). Please ask me for justification before you change. I am not removing any information, only correcting the information. Go to this website called Abtirisi.com and see the information, or search Google. Please, we need to correct the information soon. 197.231.201.171 (talk) 14:00, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
