Request reason:

I am not the same editor as the one who caused vandalism recently. I am trying to edit Wikipedia and would like to make an edit. I know this is a shared I.P. but it seems unreasonable to prevent all people from editing because one person ruined the fun. Thoughts?

Accept reason:

The block has been lifted on the reasonable assumption that the IP is indeed being used by other people now. ~ mazca talk 13:36, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Mazca:-- Deepfriedokra 01:17, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A podcast I listen to has more episodes out than what is reflected in the article.64.183.42.238 (talk) 01:19, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Have you a reliable source for the edit?-- Deepfriedokra 01:21, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The former edits that include episode numbers and titles don't have references. Instead, people just put in the edit summary "more recent issue" and "added number of episodes to infobox." Please don't make the edit that I am trying to make, but do tell me how you'd handle this any differently. Podcast is Reply All (podcast). 64.183.42.238 (talk) 01:25, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I was hoping the blocking admin would see your request and unblock. I cannot actually unblock without discussing. Sorry, sometimes the collateral damage is more than we want. And I don't want to tell you, "oh, just come back after the block expires." That's not a good answer. So, I'm stumped here as well.-- Deepfriedokra 01:28, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I understand... but can you please tell me what you would do regarding "reliable source" for updating an episode number on a podcast article? I understand that reliable sources are necessary for the majority of edits on here, but I don't think there's anything that can be done for something like this, yet it's 100% reasonable to expect updated information to be on the article... 64.183.42.238 (talk) 01:32, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I know, that's a tough one. You could ask on the article talk page, or on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Podcasting.-- Deepfriedokra 02:55, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
