Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 66.25.69.185. I switch sometimes between a VPN and my "real" IP, and forget which one I'm using, but the block message doesn't mention my actual IP address at all, so this is weird to me. See text of block message below. Please note how it mentions "149.40.56.0/22" as the blocked IP range, which has nothing to do with me. Maybe the bot sees the real and VPN IP's and decides they are the same? Tied to a 3rd range? No clue.

Decline reason:

When you turn your VPN off, you need to also clear your browser cache, otherwise Wikipedia "thinks" your VPN is still on. Once you clear you cache, it can take up to 24 hours for the block to clear your system. That should permit you to edit. 331dot (talk) 07:20, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please describe the "personal attack". I know I said something. In any case, the personal attack allegation may be a means by which to remove focus on the Article, and the point I made regarding the Article. I'll apologize, if necessary, but if the allegation seems weak to you, take a look at the breadcrumbs and wonder if the reason for the allegation isn't something more substantive that personal feelings.66.25.69.185 (talk) 19:32, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
