Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Bob the Builder worked, and it has been reverted or removed. However, if you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Does that mean it was identified as "inappropriate punctuation"? 68.224.119.202 (talk) 05:04, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article PBS Kids, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Your edits are appreciated, but please provide a source before adding the section again. Saying there "used to be a source" isn't sufficient. Further, if you find a source, perhaps adding a "controversy" section at the bottom might be better, with your specific controversy added as a subheading beneath it. Thanks. Dwimble (talk) 21:48, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

One follow-up point here...after doing a quick search I found a wiki article that does talk about the controversy you mentioned (although a wiki article isn't a valid source). However, the controversy really isn't specifically about PBS or PBS Kids, but about Teletubbies itself, because apparently the ban was instituted on a number of channels around the world. Assuming you find a reliable source for the info, it probably would be more appropriate to post it on the teletubbies article instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dwimble (talkcontribs) 22:03, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since I was adding the section "Controversy with The Lion and Bear from Teletubbies on PBS Kids" section, I couldn't find a source (e.g. a news article) to make it referenced. I wish I can post it on the Teletubbies page, but one of the buttons said "View Source" instead of "Edit." Someone needs to un-protect it, NOW!!!! 68.224.119.202 (talk) 03:27, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome! I noticed you made a change to an article, but didn’t provide a source for your edit. I’ve removed it for now, but if you can include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! Thank you, Calabe1992 03:21, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop using talk pages such as Talk:EastEnders for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. Article talk pages

[edit]

Article talk pages are not for discussion the article topic. They are for discussing improvements to the article. See WP:NOT#FORUM.—Kww(talk) 00:43, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I was trying to ask the whole community why Teletubbies didn't return to PBS Kids. Do you know why? Will you please give me an answer? Thank you! 68.224.119.202 (talk) 02:56, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know. Wikipedia:Reference desk/Entertainment might be able to help. Please don't continue to ask such questions on talk pages.—Kww(talk) 03:04, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the Night Garden Season 3

[edit]

In answer to your question, the reason I removed the Season 3 section is because there is no Season 3. It seems a bit strange to have a heading entitled "Season 3 (2010-2011)" when these episodes were never made, and the BBC stated that they never intended to make them. In hindsight, I should have put this in the edit summary. Also, the text content is fine, I could have left that, but I would suggest changing the heading to "Cancellation" or something which doesn't imply that further episodes were produced or were intended to be produced. --Canley (talk) 08:28, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

February 2012

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bear in the Big Blue House has been reverted.
Your edit here to Bear in the Big Blue House was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://muppetnewsflash.blogspot.com/search/label/Bear%20in%20the%20Big%20Blue%20House) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:02, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the Night Garden

[edit]

A preschool program on at two o'clock in the morning? Are you sure? Britmax (talk) 22:48, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, maybe not or something. When I was checking the TV listings for In the Night Garden (airing on HubBub in the USA) on www.tvguide.com, I noticed that it IS now airing at 2:00 AM. I guess The Hub went lazy as to keep changing TV schedule times for the show like that. Search for "In the Night Garden" on the same website and you'll see what I mean. 68.224.119.202 (talk) 23:25, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe they know more about the stoned student portion of their viewership than I do. Just a thought. Britmax (talk) 23:28, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Update: The show is taken off The Hub in July of this year for some reason. (Note: I'm replying to this section on my other IP address). 68.104.27.10 (talk) 23:15, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Teletubbies

[edit]

Hi - Although I would agree with you that anything involved with the Teletubbies would be scary, it doesn't have anything to do with Veggies. Thus I deleted it. Some of these Wiki pages get out of hand enough staying on topic w/o people intorducing things from a completely different subject area. Also it's hard to know whether some edits are malicious or just meant to be tongue-in-check as yours was. Once you are on Wiki for awhile, you'll know what I mean. However, thanks for making the time to try and keep Wikipedia up and running! Yours - Ckruschke (talk) 01:12, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Ckruschke[reply]

I was trying to ask everyone why the Atari-marketed versions of all the Humongous Entertainment games (including Atari's own Humongous-related ones), but no one was paying attention. WHY DIDN'T THEY HEAR ME???!?!?!!????!!!!???? CAN'T ALL THOSE GAMES JUST COME BACK INSTEAD OF ME CRYING TO MY DEATH FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE??????!?!?!!!!??!!?!? 68.224.119.202 (talk) 03:05, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see you keep on posting similar things like this on various talk pages and the Reference desk. Please, calm down, and stop this. If Atari doesn't have any answers for you, you'll just have to be patient and wait, it's not like any random Wikipedia users are going to know. Asking random people in ALL CAPS and using 20 or so random punctuation marks after sentences isn't doing you any good. Sergecross73 msg me 03:23, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Bob the Builder. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tonywalton Talk 00:10, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I had four references added to the info about the 4x4 Evo 1 and 2 merchandise for Bob the Builder. It's not promotional material. They are the homepages to KC's 4x4 Evo 1 and 2 Places and two Amazon product pages of 4x4 Evo 1 and 2 (which are for sale on the same site). Did you notice that? 68.224.119.202 (talk) 17:06, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Entertainment, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. That type of discourse is completely inappropriate for this project. -- McDoobAU93 20:48, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
