Your username
[edit]Can you describe the origins of your username? As was mentioned at WP:ANI#An inappropriate username, your username seems to be similar to a phrase used by holocaust deniers and those who celebrate the holocaust. If you can't offer an alternative explanation, your username violates our WP:username policy and so you should expect to be blocked if you don't rename or abandon your account. Frankly, if you don't have an alternative explaination, it's unlikely you belong on wikipedia whatever your name. Nil Einne (talk) 15:33, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- Why wouldn't I belong on Wikipedia? 6TrillionLampshades (talk) 04:33, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- My personal belief is that anyone who is a holocaust denier or who worse, thinks the holocaust is something to celebrate doesn't belong on wikipedia which would apply to you if you didn't have an alternative explaination for your username. Not everyone may agree, and so such people may still be allowed to edit provided they behave appropriately. In your case, it sounds like you may have an alternative explaination (although I'm still a bit confused how you came up with your username even if it was intended to be kooky and irreverant) and so perhaps this doesn't apply. Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Euryalus (talk) 19:32, 5 February 2015 (UTC)6TrillionLampshades (block log • active blocks • global blocks • autoblocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))

Hi, I'm really sorry if I offended anyone, I was just trying to be kooky and irreverant. Anyway, I will change my name. Thanks. 6TrillionLampshades (talk) 00:44, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
