Royal Coat of Arms
[edit]Please don't change the images of coat of arms to the 1837 announcement. We are waiting for an official announcement from the palace. The Royal.uk website does not use the 1837 version. DDMS123 (talk) 03:20, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please familiarise yourself with WP:NOPIPE and MOS:NOPIPE before making future changes to other articles. DDMS123 (talk) 17:40, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Do not pipe links in order to bypass a redirect. Please familiarise yourself with WP:NOPIPE and WP:NOTBROKEN. DDMS123 (talk) 17:47, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

Images of Charles III in Commonwealth-related articles
[edit]I noticed you were replacing some images of (king of the various Commonwealth realms) Charles III in a number of articles, without providing an edit summary (example). Could you please explain your rationale? If you think it is a better picture, just say so, so that other editors can either agree or disagree.
If you are relying on the discussion at Talk:Charles_III#RfC_for_infobox_image_change, note that it does not appear to be a consensus for widespread replacement in articles other than the one at that page. TheFeds 15:55, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Edward VII. I see you've been reminded several times that it is not necessary to pipe redirects, and doing so is deprecated. It is disruptive to continue with a series of edits after being asked to stop. DrKay (talk) 05:51, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
You're still doing this: [1][2]. It isn't necessary, or desirable to pipe redirects. It's easier to read wikitext without the pipe. See Wikipedia:Piped link#When not to use and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking#Piped links. Celia Homeford (talk) 07:04, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

. DrKay (talk) 06:42, 30 October 2023 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
