[edit]If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Omaha Central High School, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. faithless (speak) 20:56, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Methods of contour integration worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Methods of contour integration, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Stannered (talk) 21:40, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Laurent series
[edit]Thank you for your edits at Laurent series. I have a comment about style. Per Wikipedia conventions, one should use an italic font for math notation, so x rather than plain x, or otherwise math tags, <math>x</math>. If you have time to fix this at the article (you can also look at surrounding text), that would be great. Thanks! :) Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:37, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just one more reminder about using math tags, in math formulas. Thanks. :) Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 05:28, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Wabash Trace article
[edit]I restored the original article and removed it from the Wabash Railroad article as the Wabash Trace article refers to the rail trail and the Wabash Railroad article refers to the railroad. This is similar to other rail trail articles such as the Cowboy Trail in Nebraska, which is abandoned Chicago and Northwestern line, and the Great Western Trail in Illinois, which is an abandoned Chicago Great Western line. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Omaha Public Library has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 16:55, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Moe. You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (72.215.217.76) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
