Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Adimyati123. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Islamic Development Bank, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.

The language you use in connection to the Islamic Development Bank ... "We are working to help...", "Our vision and mission...", "These are our Vision...", "Our mission is..." make it pretty clear that you have a conflict of interest.

February 2016

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Allthefoxes. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Islamic Development Bank seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. As a connected individual, you should just make suggestions as you have been doing on the talk page --allthefoxes (Talk) 20:25, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Allthefoxes: Thanks a lot to remain me. I will try as my best to be neutral. I have submitted the request edit in Talk. Please review and tell me your comment. Again thanks. Adimyati123 (talk) 11:38, 9 February 2016 (UTC) adimyati123[reply]

un-needed content

[edit]

Please, stick to the requested edit system and wait, your passage still does not fully allign with our NPOV guidelines. The bulleted lists of commitments are likely not needed, and the content should go at the bottom of the section. --allthefoxes (Talk) 13:37, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is regarding this edit, which has been declined, as per the article's talk page.

One of Wikipedia's fundamental policies is to present topics from a neutral point of view. This means articles must represent each outside view fairly and proportionally, but not present any single view as true. Your edits appear to violate this principle and introduce bias to the article. Please use the talk page to discuss controversial edits—if you do not, it is likely that your edits will simply be removed by others. You should also be aware that repeatedly inserting something breaks the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Ignoring this may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
