I've rewritten the lead paragraph of the Purnell Model for Cultural Competence article. If you're still working on the article, I highly recommend following the structure suggested by the lead paragraph. That would mean a (brief) discussion of the model itself, including its origins and basic features, followed by a section on how it has actually been applied in the real world to training and research (supported by citations to relevant studies), followed by a section that discusses the model's limitations and any criticism of the model. In other words, the article needs to be mostly about how the model is widely used, referred to, and criticized. In Wikipedia, the model's influence is what is notable, not its contents.
