Commutator notation

[edit]

Hello, Alain. In the voice Pincherle derivative I have added to the definition the more common notation for the commutator, i.e. . By the way, I like very much your use of the \scriptstyle command: is it a your original idea or you have seen others using it in Wikipedia? Daniele.tampieri 11:57, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Daniele. The comment as well as the compliment were fully appreciated. I'm using scriptstlye since a long time in TeX.
I had a look to the Valuation. Nice work. I have an extension for it. But I have to think a while on how to include it "nicely". See you there. AlainD 19:07, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Alain. Since you plan to extend the voice "valuation", I have hadded a part I was writing off-line so now it is in a more complete form (from my point of view): I hope this could help you in deciding ho to include your contibutions. Also thank you very much for your compliments: see you online. Daniele.tampieri 21:51, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit at absolute value

[edit]

Hi Alain, welcome to Wikipedia ;-) I have some questions about this edit of yours at absolute value. Please see that article's talk page, thanks. Paul August 19:49, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sentence element has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completely unsourced article, no evidence that this is a serious linguistic term.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. rʨanaɢ (talk) 23:36, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
