Igloo

Mind adding me? — Jake Wartenberg 19:20, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Will you follow Wikimedia's m:Privacy policy with regard to any disclosure the IP information that Igloo collects? — Jake Wartenberg 19:33, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Of course. In addition, there are no 'volunteers' who will ever have access to the information, and the abuse tracker (the script which records iglooNet requests and data including the originating IP address), though not the server log, is usually cleared every month. Be advised, however, that it is likely that the iglooNet server is less secure than the Mediawiki ones, and although I make every effort to ensure data is secure, I don't take responsibility for any data that is obtained by another party - if this is unsuitable for you, you mustn't use igloo.
Let me know if this is satisfactory. If not, I will revoke the access. Thanks. Ale_Jrbtalk 19:44, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Note that igloo will inform you for up to 10 seconds during start-up before it contacts any remote server, and start-up can be terminated during this time. Ale_Jrbtalk 19:46, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
That's great. I see no reason not to trust you. — Jake Wartenberg 20:07, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Could you add me as well please? I have read the above discussions. Thanks! NW (Talk) 04:19, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
