I have written a lot on Wikipedia, as an IP....--Alsrigs (talk) 20:25, 1 February 2016 (UT
A page you started (Italian invasion of French Somalia) has been reviewed!
[edit]Thanks for creating Italian invasion of French Somalia, Alsrigs!
Wikipedia editor Garagepunk66 just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Really nice article. I enjoyed reading and learning about this piece of history. Perhaps we could add references for some of the statements, but it is a new article and that can come in time. Good luck!

Sockpuppet
[edit]Are you a sockpuppet? Srnec (talk) 02:14, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- As a welcome you are a bit aggressive, don't you agree? ....(;-D)....Anyway, I wish your friendship and possible collaboration/advise (I have seen that you have written the astonishing amount of more than 2000 new articles on Wikipedia...). Of course I am not a sockpuppet: what happens is that I have written as a IP on wiki for years, as I wrote on my first day (please see: "I have written a lot on Wikipedia, as an IP....--Alsrigs (talk) 20:25, 1 February 2016 (UTC)"). But I have never done an article by myself, so when I did my first sandbox I mistakenly copied entire excerpts from another article. Now I am correcting the mistake and I am rewriting the section about the 1940 invasion. Hope you understand my beginner' mistake and will help me with your experienced advise (like kindly did user Garagepunk66). Sincerely, --Alsrigs (talk) 16:54, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- As far as I can see, you have yet to add a single piece of sourced information about military activity in French Somaliland in June 1940 to the encyclopedia. All the sourced statements in the article you created are either (a) copied from another article or (b) not about the Italian invasion of French Somaliland. The website "Regia Marina", while useful, is not a reliable source, since it doesn't cite its sources. You have added some statements that are not sourced at all. What exactly are you trying to do? I'm sure there is more detailed information in French and Italian sources, perhaps enough to justify splitting the article, but you haven't cited any. Why should Italo-British naval actions in the Red Sea be part of an article on an Italian invasion of a French colony? Srnec (talk) 17:42, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, no problem. I want a good collaboration with you. So, now I am rewriting & adding data and references, like "Le operazioni in Africa Orientale. (Giugno 1940 - Novembre 1941). Volume II Documenti" of Rovighi Alberto. More will follow, when I'll have more time...BTW the "territorial waters" are considered an area of a country, so the Italian submarine occupation of these waters of French Somaliland sinking there ships (like did the Galilei sub) are an act of war as part of the invasion. And -please- do not erase my comment to user Garagepunk66 on the talkpage....Cheers,--Alsrigs (talk) 23:32, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
