Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Altamimi579, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Al-Awamiyah does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  <RetroCraft314 talk/> 16:57, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Al-Awamiyah, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 06:17, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Al-Awamiyah. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 06:18, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Al-Awamiyah

[edit]

They are editing and posting biased material and being bias against the Saudi government. This will not be tolerated. Altamimi579 (talk) 20:08, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jim1138. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Al-Awamiyah seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 20:41, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia goes by what wp:reliable sources state. That information that you have repeatedly removed on Al-Awamiyah is supported by Reuters, The Independent, and others. Regarding "biased", please see wp:Neutral point of view, WP:BIASED. Please discuss your concerns on talk:Al-Awamiyah and get wp:concensus before restoring. Jim1138 (talk) 20:48, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Al-Awamiyah. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. I reverted another of your edits for the same reason. Please, avoid edit warring, take your concerns to the talk pages of the articles you want to edit and gain consensus before editing. You're currently engaged in an edit war, this will not be tolerated. Thanks. Wikaviani (talk) 21:02, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Al-Awamiyah. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Per a complaint at the edit warring noticeboard. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 15:41, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring

Unless you supply a source that states "Howtat", do not change.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hotat Bani Tamim.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Hotat Bani Tamim. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 03:41, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please use the .SVG version. If you don't know how to update the .SVG version please ask for help at Commons. Don't create new versions like this that are bound to be useless very quickly.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
