[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia in culture. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Acalamari 19:58, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've responded on my talk page. Please do not re-add that text. Acalamari 20:17, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- I am aware of that, but adding the Encyclopedia Dramatica to Wikipedia, whether a link or just plain text, is not helpful in any way, and is disruptive; please do not re-add it to "Wikipedia in culture". Again, please see the Arbitration case I linked to. Thank you. Acalamari 21:34, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- You have responses again on my talk page. Acalamari 00:11, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- The Encyclopedia Dramatica is not a parody of Wikipedia: it is a site attacking Wikipedia and its contributors. Uncyclopedia is a parody, I believe, and a joke site; from my knowledge, it doesn't attack Wikipedia, and hasn't driven anyone off this project. As the Encyclopedia Dramatica is an attack site and not a parody, it is irrelavant to that section, and will be removed on-sight. I see that you have added the text again: please don't do this again; it's been explained to you why adding the site in is disruptive. Acalamari 00:35, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Signing your posts
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! (Also: always place new posts to a talk page, help page, etc., at the bottom, not the top, of the page.) --Orange Mike 21:34, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Wikipedia in culture. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors.
