File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Amit Yadav Phytoplasma rRNA operon.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Amit Yadav Phytoplasma rRNA operon.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 05:06, 6 December 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:06, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Re:Images on Sugarcane Grassy Shoot Disease (SCGS)
[edit]Hi, regarding the message you left on MBisanz's talk page, you did not select a free license for the images to be released under. The standard license is the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 license, which you can read about here. If you are happy to release the images under that license, let me know on my talk page, and I will restore the images for you. J Milburn (talk) 11:50, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Are these images used on any other websites at this time? Or have you uploaded them straight from your computer? J Milburn (talk) 14:21, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I've been busy over the Christmas period. I will restore them now. J Milburn (talk) 11:43, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see you've already reuploaded them. I have clarified the sourcing on the images uploaded here (as opposed to Commons). Again, I apologise for the delays. J Milburn (talk) 11:49, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- The issue appears to be resolved now; the sourcing and licensing is clear on each image. J Milburn (talk) 12:42, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

REQUEST UNBLOCK OF IP 59.95.15.59
[edit]- Well, This unblock is very unexpected. I have not clearly understood the REASONS OF UNBLOCK and term 'Open Proxy'. My PC or computers that I use to edit articles on Wikipedia are definitely not 'Zombie' computers but I am not sure whether they may be called so, technically or legally. I am not computer expert, I will read more about entire matter.
- I have written only one full text article Sugarcane Grassy Shoot Disease on English Wikipedia, more active on Marathi Wikipedia. I am research scholar, doing my Ph. D. in Molecular Plant Pathology.
- I am requesting clear instructions from administrators to follow next step. Few edits are in pipeline.
- FINALLY REQUEST UNBLOCK IP 59.95.15.59
- I've made the block for 59.95.15.59 to anonymous-only. You should be able to contribute from your account now. —Dark 03:57, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Main crop of Sugarcane
[edit]Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Main crop of Sugarcane. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Sugarcane. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Sugarcane - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Claritas (talk) 09:05, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

The file File:Amit Yadav Insect Vectors SCGS 4442.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Candidatus Phytoplasma sacchari
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Candidatus Phytoplasma sacchari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33289626/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fram (talk) 09:30, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You are subject to WP:COI as being one of the author of the subject. — Amkgp 💬 18:34, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
