Belated welcome

[edit]

It seems you've never received a welcome message from Wikipedia despite joining in 2006. Apologies for the oversight. Here's a standard message with lots of useful links. Lumos3 (talk) 23:25, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies

[edit]

Please also stop mass-editing school pages which you have little to no knowledge of. Please do not remove large sections that only you deem to be irrelevant but viewpoint is not shared by others. (Juinnano (talk) 08:03, 2 October 2011 (UTC))[reply]

I have only edited one school page, and I happen to be a student of that school. I'll admit I shouldn't have removed those sections without first tagging it and discussing it, but I do not have 'little to no knowledge of' that school. May I also request that you create a new section if you wish to further discuss this, instead of shoving it into my welcome. AngelSL (talk) 08:25, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I apologies for obstructing your welcome. I have become aware that that you are a student in Temasek Sec by doing a simple search on your contributions, trends and other items. I would however appreciate that you did not remove the large section on a whim without at least starting a discussion about it before. I reviewed the history page of the TMS wiki and it has to my attention that the edits done by you have become permanent and can only be manually undone. This will have to be raised with the school management to see how to rectify and improve the page. Any suggestions on how the damage can be rectified? (Juinnano (talk) 12:34, 3 October 2011 (UTC))[reply]

It is not up to the school management on how they want their wiki page to look like. I'd like you to very kindly take a look at the page now and notice that the sections I have removed (awards, achievements, etc) have been added back by me. I'd also like you to look at the talk page, where members of WikiProject Schools have commented on the issue. Please end the conversation here; it is no longer about me, rather the article, so continue there. AngelSL (talk) 15:16, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
