Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Louise de Marillac, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vatican. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not change article titles or infoboxes after concerns about doing so have been raised. If your bold edit is reverted then go to the talk page and discuss the edit. Only when consensus favors the edit should the edit then be made. DrKiernan (talk) 16:18, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Duarte Pio, Duke of Braganza. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Yopie (talk) 17:30, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Refrain from editing my talk. If we have correspondence it will be on article talk pages and admin boards. Cristiano Tomás (talk) 22:07, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, stop trying to pitch people against each other, it's sad (also playing with our face is not a phrase btw). Secondly, I support the use of the infobox/royalty and consensus came to use it on Duarte Pio's talk page months ago for his page and the other related miguelist dukes, so you are the only one who is acting against it, and thus disrupting the page's stability and going against community consensus. He has also not reverted any information of mine that was not in good faith (once again, stop trying to cause a fight, it's not respectable). You are the one "destroying consensus" on wiki. You need to learn that whatever your personal views are have no bearing onto wiki and its articles. No matter how fervently you may believe in Maria Pia or the Braganza-Coburgs, credible sources, community consensus, and abiding by Wiki's policies and rules will decide how and what material is presented in an article. Cristiano Tomás (talk) 22:30, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Now you are acting as Hebel. I cannot accept that. You cannot tell that Duarte Pio and other Miguelist pretenders "reign" because that is false. You have any reference about "Kings Duartes" that never exists. If you don't accept treat Maria Pia's article with dignity, you cannot come to ask me to accept the lies published in Miguelist articles. Duarte Pio's wife is now the Royal Princess of Portugal? LOL. Even a person that doesn't know anything about History of Portugal knows that it is a giant foolish. I will not accept false information based in non-neutral points of view. I will appeal to adminsitration and to many other users to help me to resolve the false information that you and Hebel are publishing about this subject. I believed we were to build a consensus, but then I saw that even this is false. I'm really sorry that you had changed that, believe me. Anjo-sozinho (talk) 22:59, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Fátima, Portugal. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. GermanJoe (talk) 16:38, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Anjo-sozinho, you have been repeatedly asked to stop adding external links to commercial travel and tourist sites. Also, links should contain directly relevant information about the article's topic itself, not to vaguely related separate topics or organizations. Wikipedia is not a link directory or a platform to promote local tourism or pilgrimages, and has clear guidelines about the restricted usage of external links. If you continue to add these links, these domains will get blacklisted. GermanJoe (talk) 16:42, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • Dear GermanJoe: the official websites "fatima.pt" and "peregrinosdefatima.pt" are directly related with Fátima (city) and the Sanctuary and the Marian apparitions, and considered by several Wikipedia members and several articles as official sources about this well-known subject. For that reason, they should be maintained (are not spam links) as it happens with the other worldwide famous Marian shrines and articles. Please, take this as a contribution and not as a vandalism. My purpose is offer a good articles to our community, not an advertising service to the shrine or other institutions. Thank you. Anjo-sozinho (talk) 14:41, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Nazaré, Portugal into Praia do Norte (Nazaré). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Hi Anjo-sozinho, I see you have gone around and added links to Portugal to the articles for every song from Eurovision Song Contest 2018. This constitutes overlinking, because Portugal is a well-known country and we don't need to link to it per this guideline. You also linked several instances of it that I specifically delinked already. I suggest you either delink it on these articles yourself (because it is not particularly useful) or I will be happy to do it for you. Ss112 16:38, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I see you keep moving José María Sánchez-Ventura to José María Sánchez-Ventura y Pascual over and over again. While the latter is the complete name, Wikipedia has its own rules for titling articles. WP:COMMONNAME is one of them; WP:CONCISE is another. This is why Bill Clinton is not titled William Jefferson Clinton (despite that being his full, correct name). Please, consider seeking a consensus for the move under WP:RM#CM if you wish to keep pushing forward your stance, considering that the move is now controversial. Cheers. Notice

The article Wax Museum of Lourdes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to pass WP:GNG. No significant coverage in independent sources found.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Moriwen (talk) 17:35, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
