Sources

[edit]

Hi, Ankit, I removed the imdb as a source, as it's specifically banned at WP:RELIABLESOURCES. I'm not sure if this actress is notable, but thanks for your hard work on it. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 10:35, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Image.Jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Image.Jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:30, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Image.Jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Image.Jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Begoon 06:49, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Image.Jpg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Begoon 08:41, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Your addition to Kushi (actress) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Specifically, in this case, our WP:NFC rules prohibit pictures of people still alive, groups still active, and buildings still standing; provided that taking a new free picture as a replacement (which is almost always considered possible) would serve the same encyclopedic purpose as the non-free image. This includes non-free promotional images.

Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Begoon 08:50, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

File:Image.Jpg

[edit]

You've placed a tag on the image claiming "This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License.", but you have provided no evidence that the copyright holder has released the image under that license. The url http://nowboxoffice.com/kushi-actress-photos-2/kushi-at-kalavu-thozhirchalai-audio-launch-10/http://nowboxoffice.com is a dead link. Evidence of permission is required before the license can be used on the file. -- Begoon 09:17, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

File:Rebecca Attending Audio Launch Of Her Film In 2014.Png listed for discussion

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Rebecca Attending Audio Launch Of Her Film In 2014.Png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Begoon 20:54, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Rebecca Attending Audio Launch Of Her Film In 2014.Png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Neil S. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Please take this opportunity to ensure that you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —SpacemanSpiff 14:20, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i Didn't Know that How to use and ad content on Wikipedia And i have all the evidence that I have a Copyright and Now Plz unblock Me So I Am Use and edit Wikipedia with Proper guidelines Ankit G Dubey (talk) 14:31, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your unblock request does not convince me that you understand the issues that led to your block or that you understand the copyright policy of Wikipedia. A future unblock request needs to clearly explain your understanding of the copyright policy and how you will change your edits in the future. only (talk) 15:13, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I note that you have seem to have stopped doing image copyvios which caused your first two blocks. Re your more recent, text copyvio reported above: Begoon was right to reverse your edit. However I think this dupdet report does show an attempt to re-write the source article in your own words. So I have unblocked you. But I consider this your last chance - any further copyvios and I will not help you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:51, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
