Speedy deletion nomination of Stageco
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Stageco, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shirt58 (talk) 11:45, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Hello! I left a discussion on the Stageco page on your Shirt58 (talk) link to say I have amended the page and added more external references and seem to have messed the information box up a bit , but wasn't sure if I should talk to you on my page as well? Not really sure how to alert you to a message I've left, but if you wouldn't mind just checking if I need to do more to the page or whether you think this is improved that would be great. I don't mind doing more at all, just wanted to check I was making the right changes etc. Thanks for your help with trying to save this page and please do let me know if there is anything else I can be doing to improve this page.
"Stageco" now in my "userspace"
[edit]Hi AnnieMJohansen,
English language Wikipedia Administrator RHaworth has "userfied" the deleted article Stageco that xe deleted, into "userspace" at User:Shirt58/Stageco at my request. When it was deleted, the article appeared to be Unambiguous advertising or promotion. Tho I "tagged" the article for speedy deletion, I do think that when the speedy deletions concerns have been addressed, "Stageco" will be a Wikipedia-worthy article. And that's exactly why I asked for "userfication".
I can see that you have added info to the "userfied" version. Please do continue! I'm ready to give the article - and you - any help I can.

- Oops! forgot to add two important things:
- Neither of us can claim to have control or the last word about the article now or in future;
- Both of us should ask the admin who deleted the article if it's ok to re-start the article before we so do.

Hi Shirt58 thanks for this. I will be adding to the article with perhaps a logo and some images from the big concerts they have provided the stage with and also bits and bobs that would be interesting over time, so I may be back in touch if I have any difficulties with this! Thanks again for all your help x
Article now in "mainspace"
[edit]RHaworth has now moved the article into "mainspace", Wikipedia jargon for where this encyclopedia's articles are located. Well done for your changes to the article while it was userfied. I'm glad to have played a small part in the process. While there's no obligation to, you might possibly like to pop a little thank-you note on RHaworth's "talk page" - no obligation on me either, but I have sent one. And please feel free to contact me again about any questions you might have. --Shirt58 (talk) 10:49, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
