Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative

[edit]

Hi Aswn,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Your sandbox

[edit]

I have reverted some edits made by an IP in your sandbox which looked like vandalism (the IP has also been vandalising other articles). If the edits were made by you when not signed in then feel free to revert me, but note that article categories should not be added to user space pages. If you want to place categories in draft articles you can surround them with <nowiki> tags which will prevent them actually being added to the category. No that was me. I kind of logged out during editing didnt realise till now. --Aswn (talk) 13:08, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tag and Assess 2012

[edit]

Hi Aswn, Thanks a lot for your assessments in Tag and Assess 2012 - keep up the good show. Ssriram mt (talk) 15:17, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:17th-century British people requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for four days or more and it is not presently under discussion at Categories for discussion, or at disambiguation categories.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – Fayenatic London (talk) 08:32, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on Category:1601 BC deaths indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion".
