General

[edit]

The Album summarized this Article is a new class of album, which I recommend for inclusion in a new Category: Category:Rhino Hi-Five albums by Artist, as Rhino Entertainment has, as of 16:44, 13 June 2008 (UTC), 129 such EP's at:

Concerning this Article in specific, what improvements are up for consideration? B. C. Schmerker (talk) 16:44, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Only in My Dreams

[edit]

I am aware of two single-style versions of the Debbie Gibson song "Only in My Dreams" recognizable to radio listeners: the February 1987 single (Atlantic 89322, 3:50), not available on LP until the Priority Records compilation album 80's Greatest Rock Hits Part 11: Teen Idols (Priority 53773), whereon it was Track 2; and the LP Version (3:55), initially on the Atlantic Records studio album Debbie GibsonOut of the Blue (SD 81780) as Track 3, and reused as Track 4 of Atlantic DM 85779 "Shock Your Mama" and Track 1 of SD 82624 Greatest Hits. The 89322 version has a reverb on the snare drum; no echo on Gibson's voice until the "Bop, bop, bop, bop, bada" at the end of the Bridge; and saxophone in the closing Chorus. Who can confirm which version Rhino Hi-Five: Debbie Gibson has for Track 1? B. C. Schmerker (talk) 08:05, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
