[edit]Please stop removing maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Draft:Benny's Pizza, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 16:57, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

. Vanamonde (Talk) 17:49, 18 March 2019 (UTC)It is fairly obvious, from your username and your editing history, that you have a conflict of interest with respect to Benny's Pizza. Despite having been warned about this, you have continued to violate the behavioral guidelines described at WP:COI. I have therefore blocked you indefinitely, and you will remain blocked until you can explain the problem with your edits and how you will avoid those problems in the future. This isn't a trick question; you essentially need to read, understand, and agree to abide by, the guidelines I mentioned above. Vanamonde (Talk) 17:52, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Benny's Pizza.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Benny's Pizza.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 19:36, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
Unblock request=
[edit]Benny2828 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I realize that I did not state a conflict of interest on my talk page--I thought I had done so but I must have not completed this correctly. Additionally, I see that my posts were quite disruptive to Wikipedia as a whole. Wikipedia is meant to be a source of unbiased information, and my edits on my page have shown bias towards a particular subject, which is not the purpose of the site. I would like to have my page unblocked so I can contribute to other pages with valid and unbiased information. I will, of course, disclose my COI on my talk page--correctly this time--and continue to contribute to other articles. slakr\ talk / 06:58, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Per admin discussion below, and although there are some reservations, the user is being given another chance. They agree to and must disclose their conflict before editing, to edit in a way that avoids the actual or appearance of a conflict of interest and the user is warned their edits may be reviewed from time to time and any return to the previous behavior will result in an immediate (i.e. with little or no warning) and likely indefinite block. N.J.A. | talk 15:24, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- What other articles do you want to contribute to?(or what subject areas) 331dot (talk) 17:55, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- I do a lot of restaurant industry research, and would like to contribute to other business pages. Benny2828 (talk) 18:19, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
@Vanamonde93: what do you think? I'm not sure I trust them to edit neutrally but the only way to find out may be to unblock and check their contributions — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:02, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- @MSGJ: I'm not convinced either. I'd be willing to give them a second chance if we make it clear that any return to the previous behavior may result in an immediate and indefinite block; but I also don't have the time to monitor their contributions. If you are willing to do so, an unblock is fine by me. Vanamonde (Talk) 15:21, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Benny2828: Please address the comment directly above. (@MSGJ: just cleaning up the unblock cat) --slakr\ talk / 06:58, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Vanamonde93: :@MSGJ: I do understand your hesitations with this. I do believe that I am more familiar with the rules of Wikipedia now, and the reasons why I have been blocked from the site. I would like a second chance, and will do what I can to help that happen. Benny2828 (talk) 18:40, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't have time to spend on this now, but if another admin wants to unblock, then it's fine with me — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:59, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
