Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Bet365 do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Christopher Connor (talk) 13:25, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Christopher - the link added references more current information regarding Bet 365's customer base and company standing than is currently listed on their wiki entry but that is freely available on Bet 365's official website. As the Bet 365 domain is included on the wiki blacklist, linking there is not possible so using an alternative reference seems appropriate.

The link you added doesn't comply with WP:RS or WP:EL. If there's no way to source the info in accordance with policy, it may be best to just leave it out. Christopher Connor (talk) 14:56, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In which case the information should surely remain unreferenced, as the current stats are. If the older stats didn't require a reference, why would the newer? It's easy enough to verify the veracity of the figures through the Bet 365 site.

I removed the link because it was unacceptable. Whether you want to change the info without a source is up to you, but then anyone can challenge you on WP:V. I see now that the info does say what the bet365 website says. If you want to challenge the blacklist, go to Wikipedia:Spam blacklist. Christopher Connor (talk) 15:13, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
