License tagging for Image:Elements35.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Elements35.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:06, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Icar has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. - Hello – thanks for the message. You were notified above that the article was proposed for deletion on June 6. The article was not improved during the five-day period, and no one objected to its deletion by removing the blue notice at the top of the article. Therefore, the five-day period expired and the article was deleted. I didn't provide the rationale – the person who proposed it for deletion did. If you feel an error was made, you can take your case to deletion review. Thanks again – KrakatoaKatie 22:29, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've restored Icar so you can improve the article. If it isn't improved, it can be nominated for deletion again. Please let me know if you have more questions or need assistance. Thanks. - KrakatoaKatie 05:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

The article Icar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:N. No significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Woodroar (talk) 21:58, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Icar until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Orphaned non-free image File:Elements35.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Elements35.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:26, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
