[edit]- Cinderella City
- This one is great but a challenge. Here's what I can tell from poking around: this article is a lot of reproduced content from another site (MallHistory.com) where the same author probably worked on both. But this is not ok. That article from MallHistory could be used as a source, but should not reproduce content. Someone needs to go in and change this and rework the article to be more appropriate to Wikipedia. It was nominated for deletion once but came down as "keep" with the assumption that it is notable and a good basis. But no one has done that and it has remained basically the same for the last ten years. But you could take it on!
- Marc Coleman
- Ah, a good BLP (WP:BLP)) that is clearly written by someone associated with this person. You could do it but you'd have to be bold and very tuned into the guidelines about BLPs. Needs to be done though! The tags have been sitting there a year with no one fixing it!
- Cola wars
- This article is terrible. Most of the content is not even about the "Wars" and I'm not sure that this chart is appropriate. My worry here is that you would have to be super heavy handed, probably deleting a good bit of content and moving stuff around to make space for appropriate material. if you do this, you might also want to add a few good sources/material if you can easily find it. Note that some editors do seem to be keeping an eye--which might actually be a good thing since they will likely welcome bold action here.
- Portavogie
- Let's not do this one. There just are no citations. In these cases, I suspect the material is actually lifted from somewhere else. Needs to be fixed, but might not be worth doing for this project.
- Desmond Fennell
- Another BLP with the same issues. I'd only do one of these rather than both that way you can experience a variety of issues.
I'll put the four good ones up on the WikiEdu dashboard. Grab them and assign them to yourself there. Etherfire (talk) 20:51, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
