File permission problem with File:Busytown mysteries skyline by byron.molina.12 dec 2013.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Busytown mysteries skyline by byron.molina.12 dec 2013.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:51, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Yoko (book)

[edit]

Hello Byronmolina87,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged :Yoko (book) for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mr RD (talk) 19:27, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Byronmolina87, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Doki (TV series) has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

 • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
 • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
 • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
 • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
 • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
 • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 22:19, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of :Yoko (book)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on :Yoko (book) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Oops! Thank you for making the correction by adding the year on Ned's Newt. It took me 30 minutes to an hour to rearrange the programming list. I think a Quboer forgot to rearrange the programming schedule around on Monday.

License tagging for File:61w1HBijnFL. SY400 .jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:61w1HBijnFL. SY400 .jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:05, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of programs broadcast by TVOKids, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Get a Life! and Bill and Ben. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Doki (TV series) without explaining why. Doki (TV series) - removal of clarify template

[edit]

Hi there, this edit, where you removed a clarify template without clarifying what was requested to be clarified, is not constructive. Your edit summary doesn't make much sense either: "i removed cintion needed guess what characters it still here" Feel free to explain below or on the article's talk page. Thanks. Your edits here, where you convert all the quotation marks to italics, are not consistent with MOS:ITALICS. Titles of TV series, like Doki, are italicized. The individual episodes are wrapped in quotations marks. I explained that both here and in my edit summary here. Please don't change these back. [edit]

Hi there, if you're going to add wikilinks to articles, you should familiarize yourself with WP:WIKILINKS and MOS:PIPE. In this edit you "fixed" a link formatted as Japanese by changing it to Japanese. This isn't the preferred way to establish wikilinks. If the article you are linking to (Japan) is contained in the word you are linking (Japanese), link to Japan, then add "ese" outside the brackets. This makes it easier to read in editing mode. In MOS:PIPE the example given is:

apples - Not preferred
apples - Preferred

A software "bot" is certain to come by eventually and change your formatting to the preferred format. Generally speaking, it might be good to research the changes that more experienced editors make rather than assuming your version is correct. Thanks. Hi Byron, regarding this edit, we don't need wikilinks for common words like "bird". Everyone knows what a bird is. Please see WP:OVERLINK, which may give you a better idea of what words/concepts should and should not be linked. The purpose of wikilinks is to help people understand the article better. So in the case of Doki, linking to bird or United States or France or dog doesn't help us understand what the TV show is about. We also generally don't need multiple wikilinks for the same thing. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:27, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hidden content in articles

[edit]

Hi there, why are you adding hidden content to articles like here at List of programs broadcast by Qubo and here at Doki? Feel free to respond below. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:39, 17 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Content not supported by references

[edit]

In this edit there are a number of additions you made that are not supported by the reference you provided. I don't see Sally Bollywood, Famous 5: On the Case, Funniest Pets & People, Stickin' Around, etc. I didn't check them all, but it's problematic that many are unsourced. Also, some of them seem to be predicting the future, like Sherlock Holmes, which you're asserting will end tomorrow. I don't understand what you're attempting to do. You really should open a discussion on the talk page and seek consensus for your changes. As previously noted, having hidden content is just a strange thing to do. If you want to work on the content until it's ready to release, please use your sandbox instead. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:24, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not copy episode summaries

[edit]

Hi byron, regarding these edits, you cannot copy plot summaries from IMDb or any other source. Plot summaries have to be written from scratch in your own words otherwise they may be copyright violations. If your English is not very strong, you probably should not attempt this. Thank you. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Splash and Bubbles into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Not enough well-referenced content and original article too small for a WP:SPLIT now as well. Hello, Byronmolina87. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, List of Doki characters, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

 1. edit the page
 2. remove the text that looks like this:
 3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
