Bolivia

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your contributions to Bolivia on here. As you can see a great deal of work needs doing! In particular we need to bring the provinces up to acceptable levels. German wikipedia is way ahead of us. Hope you enjoy editing here. You may be intereste din joning Wikipedia:WikiProject Bolivia Dr. Blofeld White cat 12:45, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a list of 63 reserves and parks in Bolivia. Could you please say something to note that you have got my messages. Thanks Dr. Blofeld White cat 13:12, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome! I've been a bit sidetracked of late so I haven't been able to concentrate on Bolivia yet. I did though start a few municipalities of Bolivia a while back and some articles like Oruro Symphony Orchestra. My most recent is Agriculture in Bolivia. Wonderful country, in fact as I type I have a Quena by the side of me on the bed!! Look forward to working with you. It would also be very useful if you speak Spanish to help translate from SPanish wikipedia or Spanish websites. Id not you can always use google translate to help you expand any stubs!. Dr. Blofeld White cat 14:16, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By the way I created those templates for the departments like Template:Beni Department etc. If you could follow this example and ensure the other departments have templates too. You can also add any notable landmarks to the templates for instance mountains, lakes, churches etc within the department. Ask if you need any help with them. Saludos! Dr. Blofeld White cat 15:17, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have one of those too!! But a smaller version Dr. Blofeld White cat 17:22, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It should be the. However I don't think you need to split the categories. Provinces of Bolivia should all go in one national category. They should go in two categories Provinces of Bolivia and Cochabamba Department. Also for the cities, towns and villages the idea is that you split by department once the main category becomes too big. Unless you intend adding 100+ articles on towns within it then I wouldn't split. Understand? Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:27, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for creating pages on San Rafael de Velasco, San José de Chiquitos and San Javier (Ñuflo de Chávez). Are you planning to create articles on the remaining two mission settlements: Santa Ana de Velasco and San Miguel de Velasco as well? bamse (talk) 21:46, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 19:16, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Oronyms of Andean volcanoes

[edit]

Greetings,

seeing as you frequently edit around in articles with Aymara or Quechua names and sometimes change terms in these languages, I wanted to ask if you have any familiarity with etymologies of mountains in the area. Specific issues being Cerro Tuzgle and Zapaleri, for example. I've found this document with some etymologies but I don't know if that is a good source. Cheers! This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Ch'ankha Muqu, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Ch'ankha Muqu. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:31, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello CaTi0604. See Talk:Kitarahu. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 14:27, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 350 articles in just six days. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thankyou.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:22, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Qachu Quta (Eliodoro Camacho) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, and WP:BEFORE search turns up nothing (specifying eliodoro camacho)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. eviolite (talk) 02:45, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
