Conven-i-ence trout.
[edit]Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something silly. |

- You should give WP:VANDAL and WP:NOTVANDAL a read. Also, when you leave a note — and I give you credit for not just using a vandal template, you should leave a polite note explaining what the editor did wrong. By doing this not only do you educate the other editor you also give yourself a kind of crosscheck. If you can not articulate what they did wrong and why it was, per policy or guideline wrong then you should not be leaving a warning. If you found the edit incorrect for some other reason, explain your concern rather than just jumping on the other editor. Consider this note I am writing to you, and imagine if instead of explaining I jumped on you in the same way you jumped on the IP editor? Always remember you are addressing your comments to a person. Maybe they actually are a jerk or a vandal but, per policy you must assume, at least at first, that they are not. Also, good job on owning up and apologizing at ANI. That takes character. I wish more people would do that. Jbh Talk 03:10, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

[edit]The RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up.
By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject.
I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity.
Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them.
If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience.
Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision. Sincerely, — The Transhumanist 11:04, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
P.S.: if you reply to this message, please {{ping}} me. Thank you. -TT
"That"
[edit]"That" is a perfectly fine word in many cases and as useless and disruptive an interjection as "um", "er" or "like, you know" in others. If I say "that" is a pointless waste of space, it's the same as saying that "that" is a pointless waste of space. All it adds is another syllable a reader has to pronounce or ignore to get the same idea. Inefficient slop, and you might learn to hate it, too.
Why do you love it for now? InedibleHulk (talk) 00:34, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
- That is one of my favorite words. Saying something like "He knows he love her" vs. "He knows that he loves her" is like saying "Everything works" vs. "Everything that works". It is useless to you, but not to me. Let that sink in. Call me when you get the chance (We need to talk/It ain't easy) 01:19, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
- It's useful in "Everything works", because that is a declarative sentence, while "Everything that works" is a collective noun. Whole other ball game. But "He knows he loves her" means the exact same thing as "He knows that he loves her". If you're singing that, that might warrant a bonus syllable, but nobody sings the Current Events and nobody expects us to. "I love that ass, honey" vs "I love ass, honey" is another glaring difference (and crucial comma), but when "Fox says Trump says Kim says they're meeting" (or whatever), very few would notice the missing 25% if they weren't reminded it was gone. It's that kind of marriage one should seek with any word; deep meaningful connection about half the time, and an unspoken understanding that you don't need to cling together and finish every damn one of each others' sentences. It stops being cute after a while, trust me. InedibleHulk (talk) 02:03, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
- That is neither my girlfriend nor my wife. In real life, I'm single and have yet to find a girlfriend in person. If you look at my user page, one of my userboxes says that I'm male. That means that I'm a dude. I have a penis, a lot of facial hair, and a male voice. Think about that. Call me when you get the chance (We need to talk/It ain't easy) 15:31, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
- I knew you were a dude when I called you "brother", brother. But upon closer inspection of your personal userbox, I see you're more than a mere man. You're a man who openly loves movies the way movies could never love him. I daresay the only thing really holding you back from being the next Steven Spielberg is your reluctance to let "that" go when it's not important. That dude knows when to hold 'em and knows when to fold 'em. He's still no Don Bluth and never will be, but I'll bet you're more likely to follow his lead than mine. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:38, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not related to you, but one of the links that you typed to me quotes a Kenny Rogers song. I listen to classic hits radio, but I have yet to hear that song on the station. Have you heard it on the radio before? OMG, emphasis on that! Thousands more bytes and this talk page will be a long one. Call me when you get the chance (We need to talk/It ain't easy) 19:26, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- We're definitely cousins. Might have to go back a hundred generations to find our grandparents, but they existed as sure as that song (and "That Song") does. The former isn't rock, though, so you may have to wait through centuries of Kenny Loggins and Kenny Shields first. Much easier to tune into TV; it's bound to pop up somewhere. Only another 860,000 bytes before you're bigger than List of Nobel laureates by university affiliation! InedibleHulk (talk) 22:19, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- Wait a second, are you....? I think I might pull off a family reunion someday. I'll watch as others spread the world when they read this talk page. They'll know what a good editor I am. There's not much to do right now anyway, but I've got some things to take care of before I die. But I'm 21 but have yet to drink or smoke. I don't intend to do those two horrid things. Remind me what kind of world we live in when the world we really live in is called Earth. You know what, I've got it made. Thanks for this conversation. Call me when you get the chance (We need to talk/It ain't easy) 23:08, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm you from the mirror universe. Started smoking and drinking after accomplishing everything I'd deemed feasible in this world at 12, now I'm sent back to assure you those were both stupid choices. Smoking tobacco and drinking liquor, anyway. Nothing makes a good movie you've already seen a dozen times better than a bowl of weed and a tall glass of water (normal water, not bottled or tap). Also, don't eat anymore birds or their eggs and believe the opposite of the next thing someone tells you about daylight, whether it's positive or negative (claims in that article don't count). There's like, uh, no time to explain that! InedibleHulk (talk) 03:43, 11 June 2018 (UTC)

Important Announcement!
[edit]I will be joining a day program starting July 30, 2018. The first thirty days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) will last until September 10, 2018. Because I will be at the day program, I won't be editing Wikipedia when I'm there.
I might get a job, and that's gonna be one of the reasons why I won't edit Wikipedia much when I'm at the day program or while I'm employed.
It's been a great pleasure having to edit this wiki whenever I feel like it, and I hope to continue editing this wiki whenever I'm not in the day program or at work. So yeah, I won't be back until I say so. Thank you for a year and about two months of your support.
Oh, and one last thing: Let your mind set you free if you feel like your life is dragging you down.
Again, thank you.

You Gotta Help Me!
[edit]For some weird reason, new edit summaries from me have been disappearing. I'm suspecting that it might be a glitch. As a result, that one website, XTools, I decided to erase my search history of it. Perhaps XTools needs to be fixed in order for my new edit summaries to finally appear. Again, I need all y'all's help. Because Halloween is only five days away and I need to figure out what's been going on with me. I need this taken seriously! Please!

- No problem. I had a very brief peruse of the edit history, and no edit warring stuck out at me, I encourage you to review WP:EDITWAR to better understand the controlling policy. There are however definitely WP:DE issues. I have left them a message, hopefully they will heed it. So I'm going to be around a few more days if you need additional help. However my time may be constrained, so you are probably better off asking any questions you have at the help desk or tea house. - FYI I have blocked Andrew939787321 for 36 hrs. Their editing history suggests either massive WP:CIR issues or deliberately disruptive behavior, which their edit on your talk page certainly was. Further they had already been warned, repeatedly, about their editing. Do take note of the advice here and at your ANI report. But while there is some fair criticism of your handling this, your basic grievance was legit. I am guessing your not a regular on the drama boards, which speaks well of your character. Happy editing. -Ad Orientem (talk) 04:25, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hey, why are you adding Category:Films not released in theaters due to the COVID-19 pandemic to Irresistible (2020 film). No where in the article does it say that the film was pulled from theatres because of COVID-19. The source used for the statement merely lists changes to theatrical release schedule and no reason. Most editors aren't aware that the project became active again in April 2020. Just wanted to inform you about that and hope you join. Elijahandskip (talk) 16:33, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

- Stop hating on the semicolon. I like the semicolon just fine. You do not understand. Call me when you get the chance 21:28, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Call me when you get the chance, No, you do not understand. Quit inserting incorrect semantics into pages. You have not shown any comprehension of MOS:PSEUDOHEAD, MOS:DLIST, or the edit instructions page and its talk. Stop. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 21:38, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- I take it, you HATE the semicolon. You need to stop being angry with me over some, uh, minor edit. And what do you mean "incorrect semantics"? And what do you mean "MOS:PSEUDOHEAD" or "MOS:DLIST"? I know of the edit instructions page, but please. Take a deep breath and perhaps Dispute resolution could sort things out, hopefully. Call me when you get the chance 21:42, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Call me when you get the chance, What I mean is that you introduce incorrect semantics by starting a definition list with a semi-colon and then not having the rest of the list which is delimited with colons. Instead, you start a definition list and then follow it with an unordered/bulleted list. That is incorrect semantics. You need to read the pages that I linked to understand and you obviously haven't. Actually read these guidelines and follow them. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 21:44, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Both of those things were too long for me to read. I now understand. Call me when you get the chance 21:46, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Call me when you get the chance, Is this a joke? ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 21:47, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- I know of pseudo-headings and of definitions. I'm serious. This is no joke at all. Call me when you get the chance 21:50, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Advice and warning about edit warring
[edit]I noticed the edit warring at List of English-language films with previous foreign-language film versions. You have also broken the 3 revert rule, as your edits are not exempted under the specific exemptions listed further down the edit warring page. Consider this a warning and advice about edit warring. Edit warring is not right even if you think you are in the right. If you think you will get involved in an edit war over something not exempted, then report it or let other users revert. There is no deadline on Wikipedia, so leaving something unreverted for a while is not an inherently bad thing. However, certain things, like BLP violations are important to remove, which is why they are listed as exemptions to the 3 revert rule. Please take this warning seriously. Also ensure that you keep cool in discussions, focusing on the content and not the contributor. If you have questions, ask. I have this page watchlisted for the time being. Singer TV show
[edit]Hello, could you help me to revert the edits which special:Contributions/117.1.244.233 made and report that IP user? See Special:diff/1000451093 and Special:diff/1000451203. Season 8 is definitely the final season of "Singer" TV show, no mistakes. IP user persistently give vandalised editing. 161.81.218.206 (talk) 13:40, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Boney M – More Gold
[edit]Thanks for reverting these IP edits. Just to let you know I've put in a request for page protection to try and put off the IP editor, who has a looooong history of adding unsourced content to Boney M album articles, and many others... I see you have a request immediately above about the very same editor, and perhaps you should be aware of this page if you aren't already – it's widely considered by other editors to be the same person. Talking to the Moon
[edit]Of course, he is not Brazilian but Warner Music Brazil (label) released the song as a single only in Brazil. Elektra and Atlantic never released the song as a single anywhere else, unless you have sources to back it up it stays the away it is, so please stop reverting correct edits.
