Sarah Trimmer comment on Young-adult fiction page
[edit]Charlene87, I'm posting this here as well as on the discussion page, just in case you're not watching that: did you find this source? I am interested to know what it is. Otherwise, does anyone following this dicussion mind if we delete that comment until we can find a source? Given the importance of our understanding of young people in the study of young-adult fiction, I think it's important that we don't make unsubstantiated claims about when we began to make distinctions between children and young adults. For the purpose of understanding the history of young-adult fiction, Trimmer's definition of books for 'young persons' seems sufficient.--Wiki apprentice (talk) 11:24, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Charlene Did you ever find a source for the Timmer comment? Mike Klaassen (talk) 21:08, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
