[edit]Please stop changing comments of other users. If you wish to comment or make a report, do so separately instead of overriding existing comments. It is disruptive. Thank you. --Ashleyyoursmile! 12:20, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
He started to undo my changes, then I do his revenge in tennis too!!! Charli 250 (talk) 12:22, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Charli 250, would you mind explaining what you mean by "his revenge in tennis"? Ashleyyoursmile! 12:24, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I have entered results that are correct. He erases them. Then he posts results that are 5 minutes earlier than the match is over and delete them and then post when it is over Charli 250 (talk) 12:26, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

. GirthSummit (blether) 12:25, 1 May 2021 (UTC)- I've blocked you from editing that page while I look into what it is you've been doing. If you'd like to explain, I'm listening. GirthSummit (blether) 12:25, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

Then I reported him and he deletes it! Charli 250 (talk) 12:29, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- I'm only retracting the misinformation that unfortunately happens on your part. Also, you retract any edit by users who make changes, then make them on your own. You're also retracting confirmed information. In the process, you insult others and make threats. When reporting you, you delete my conclusions (expecting revenge? I don't know), give my arguments and try to achieve something with it. Apparently he can't behave and respect other users as well. Such behavior should not be allowed. Gro456 (talk) 12:33, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
BIG YOU CANCEL MY CORRECT CHANGES, YOU MAKE EDITING TOO EARLY BEFORE THE GAME IS FINISHED. I CORRECT IT AND DELETE, YOU DELETE MINE THEN EVEN THE GAME DOESN'T END Charli 250 (talk) 12:36, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Stop, both of you, while we get to the bottom of this. Charli 250, what do you mean by 'do his revenge in tennis too'? I'm trying to understand it, the best I can get is that you are reverting another editor to get revenge on them because they reverted you, is that correct? GirthSummit (blether) 12:39, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Charli 250, there's no need for you to shout. Please keep things civil instead of accusing other users. Ashleyyoursmile! 12:40, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
correct. Gro posts results too early even though the game was still running (final result). I am deleting the change because it has not yet been decided. When I wanted to change it (enter the final result) I saw that 1 minute after my change of his result he deleted my changes and then I deleted his changes and then always entered that when it was over Charli 250 (talk) 12:42, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I didn't offend anyone. I told Gro yesterday that I would report him if he doesn't stop undoing his changes or enters the results too early Charli 250 (talk) 12:44, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I ALWAYS edit when the results are confirmed and the rest of the information as well. When brought to your attention, regarding ANY situation where users edit, you retract it and change it to your own.Gro456 (talk) 12:33, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Gor don't lie. You have results too soon several times Charli 250 (talk) 12:48, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Apparently you don't know when the games end and don't have verified information. I do not enter previously uncompleted results. "I didn't offend anyone" ? I would argue, after what you wrote on my talk page. Gro456 (talk) 12:52, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
But you give! I always look at the websites and they are still running! Charli 250 (talk) 12:53, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
So you're entering results too early! Charli 250 (talk) 12:53, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Then please change websites and sources, if they work too slowly for you. I emphasize, with me the results are completed and then I enter them, it's not my problem if something isn't working for you. Of course, that's not the reason that every time, even if I entered a result after 10 minutes, you still retract it and change it so that the edit is yours (not only when I enter it, but also other users). Gro456 (talk) 12:57, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I HAVE THE WEBSITES OF THE TOURNAMENTS AND THE RESULTS ARE NOT OFFICIAL WHEN YOU REGISTER! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS Charli 250 (talk) 12:58, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
If you have something later than I do, that doesn't mean it's a reason to roll back my and others' changes. Respect other users. And I emphasize, you changed every edit I made, no matter if they were "too soon" for you or not. Gro456 (talk) 13:01, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- OK, so, I've looked into this a bit more now. Charly 250, your comments at Gro456's userpage were grossly offensive and entirely unacceptable. If you ever make remarks like that about another user again, regardless of anything they have done, you can expect to be blocked from editing entirely. WP:NPA is policy, and it is strictly enforced. Your remark above -
Gor don't lie
= is also a personal attack. If you are willing to discuss this calmly I'll look into your claims, but if you resort to personal attacks again you will be blocked. - Can you provide an example of when you believe that Gro456 has entered the result of a tennis match before the match had finished? Please provide a diff to the specific edit where you say they have done this. GirthSummit (blether) 13:02, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
BIG THE OFFICIAL WEBSITES ARE BETTER THAN YOUR CHANGES. BECAUSE YOU MAKE TOO EARLY Charli 250 (talk) 13:06, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Charli 250, is that what this is about - you are expecting other editors to use only official tournament websites as sources? There is no requirement for them to do so - if another reliable source gives a result prior to the tournament website being updated, it's fine for another editor to use it, and it's not acceptable for you to revert them and wait for the official result. GirthSummit (blether) 13:10, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
It is still played on several WEBSITES. In addition, I have the games on TV and they weren't over yet, although they had already been entered. I promise I won't offend anyone anymore. Gro sorry for insulting Charli 250 (talk) 13:14, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Charli 250, again, can you provide a diff of an edit where this has occurred - where results were added before the game was concluded? You keep saying that it has happened, but you haven't shown me an example yet so I have no way of telling whether what you are saying is correct. GirthSummit (blether) 13:20, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I can't tell you exactly, it was sometime this morning. But what I noticed was that another user entered L. Siegemund against I. Swiatek much too early in the game Charli 250 (talk) 13:45, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Can I have a conversation with Gro450 alone? I want to talk to him in peace and say sorry Charli 250 (talk) 13:46, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- If Gro456 wants to do that, that's fine by me. Seriously though, enough with the reverting just because you think something might be premature - check the sources they've used, see whether they're supported before reverting. GirthSummit (blether) 13:53, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
ok I'm doing Charli 250 (talk) 13:58, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

- Yes you did. I'll put some more notes below the block notice, which I hope will explain things for you. GirthSummit (blether) 13:28, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

2021 L'Open 35 de Saint-Malo – Singles moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2021 L'Open 35 de Saint-Malo – Singles, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
Bye! Charli 250 (talk) 19:41, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
--LH7605 (talk) 19:44, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
:) Charli 250 (talk) 19:47, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Gruss, LH7605 (talk) 19:49, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Charli 250 (talk) 19:50, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. GirthSummit (blether) 12:59, 2 May 2021 (UTC)- Having looked at your recent editing at 2021 Mutua Madrid Open – Women's Singles, where you are still repeatedly undoing other users' edits only to reinstate them moments later, and in light of the discussion above, I see no option but to block your account temporarily to try to get across to you that this sort of editing is disruptive - please stop doing it. GirthSummit (blether) 13:04, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- Since you don't seem to understand what you have done wrong, I'm going to attempt to be clear and specific: in the history of that article, I count at least four instances of you reverting other editors within the last 24 hours, all of them after the discussion we had yesterday. There may be more than four, I stopped counting - the history is confusing, because you frequently reinstate their edits moments after you reverted it. That kind of editing is a strange kind of edit warring, since you frequently reinstate the content, but it's not acceptable. I really don't understand what the root of this problem is - I'm guessing it's to do with websites being updated at different rates, a lag between live sports events and their 'live' coverage, or something like that, but the long-and-short of it is that you can't just go around reverting people's contributions so frequently. WP:3RR is very specific on this in fact:
An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period
(emphasis in original). The definition of a revert for the purposes of interpreting that rule is 'an edit that undoes other editors' actions' - it doesn't matter whether you do it manually, or by using a semi-automated method like the 'undo' button. There are exceptions to 3RR, listed at WP:3RRNO, but none of them seem to apply in a case like this. - Here is a suggestion for how to proceed in future after the block expires: if you see an edit updating a score in a tennis match or similar, and you don't think the score is 'official' yet, wait a minute or two and see whether it becomes official. If it does, there is no need to revert; if it is wrong, and the score is different from what someone has put, then change it to the right score.
- I'll also add that if you do revert someone's edit, you are expected to leave an edit summary explaining why you have reverted. The only exception to this expectation is when you are reverting obvious vandalism, as defined by WP:VANDALISM. Communication is very important, and the people you revert would have no idea why you did it, or what you were expecting them to do differently.
- I hope that this is clear enough. GirthSummit (blether) 13:40, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
You seem to still be doing this
[edit]Hi - I see from the edit history at 2021 Mutua Madrid Open – Women's Doubles that you still seem to think it reasonable to repeatedly revert editors, without using an edit summary, only to reinstate their change moments later. Perhaps you didn't understand what I said above, so I'll try to say it more simply: that kind of editing is disruptive. If you keep doing it, you will be blocked again, indefinitely if the behaviour doesn't stop. Just stop it. Thanks GirthSummit (blether) 18:14, 7 May 2021 (UTC)

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. S.A. Julio (talk) 19:13, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at UEFA Euro 2020 Group B, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating. At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors being published on the article. S.A. Julio (talk) 19:37, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
