International Triennial Of Graphic Art - IGT Bitola moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, International Triennial Of Graphic Art - IGT Bitola, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:17, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
Mirrors
[edit] Thanks for contributing to the article El Calabozo cove. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. - Same thing here, here, and here. I realize you're in some kind of contest, but please slow down and carefully evaluate your sources. Sam Kuru (talk) 00:20, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- Again, immediately after being warned, you added sources to two more very clearly identified mirrors. The alchetron reference you added here very cleary notes: "References Chitō Station Wikipedia (Text) CC BY-SA". The Dbpedia link you added here notes "This content was extracted from Wikipedia and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License". Many links you are adding are also broken, and you're not verifying the content or the quality of the sources. Most of the rest of your sources look like junk travel scrapers that may or may not be reliable. Please stop, slow down and be careful. If you continue to add false sources like this in this contest without acknowledging this warning, this account may be disabled until you reply. Thank you. - I've left you a very detailed explanation of the problem above. Here's a simple version: other web sites copy material from Wikipedia; we cannot use that copied material to source the same, original material here. Does that makes sense? Sam Kuru (talk) 01:07, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

Disruptive editing with poor sourcing
[edit]As discussed above, you have added poor and unreliable sources to dozens of articles. I am in the process of removing many of them. These sources are not independent or reliable and are often just mirror sites (sites that repost Wikipedia's content whole-cloth) and are therefore useless as sources. Please stop this - your contest is not worth the cost of other editors needing to mop up these poor edits. Kazamzam (talk) 23:14, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

The article International biennale of miniature graphics and drawings Bitola has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

The article International biennale of miniature graphics and drawings Bitola has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG and WP:NEVENT. During a WP:BEFORE I found absolutely no sources. The article was previously the subject of a malformed PROD, but as it was not contested I am being bold and properly nominating this.

Please clean up articles before publishing them
[edit]Hello. An article you started, Anamarija Stibilj Šajn, had broken links when you stopped editing it. In this version (the article as it was when you left it), if you click the link for Azad Karim (reference number 7), it will appear to be a dead link because there's an extra / at the end. Or look at reference number 4: it's broken and won't lead anywhere because there's a missing full stop in the middle. Aside from the broken links, an artist's name was written as 'Sonja Tavčar Skaber', when it should be 'Sonja Tavčar Skaberne'.
These are simple things to fix, and they should have been fixed before the article was published. Although the typo in the artist's name and the link for Azad Karim may not be immediately noticeable, the fact that there's a problem with ref number 4 is quite obvious, even if one is not sure exactly what's wrong before examining it.
To avoid this, please compose and edit articles in your sandbox. Review them and fix any problems. Then after they are cleaned up, move them to 'mainspace'. Please don't write things directly in mainspace until you have more experience editing. Thank you. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 17:08, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hi Chnitke. Thank you for your work on Jasmina Atanasova. Another editor, North8000, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thanks for your work. To meet the wp:notability requirement for existence as a separate article requires that there be multiple independent sources which cover the topic of the article (HER) in depth. The sources cover the book "When the Dust Settles" not her. And so the content covers the book "When the Dust Settles" not her. Could not find any real sources (much less GNG sources) which cover here. Suggest merging this article into the book article.

- Thank you for the kind advice.
- I will try to set up links right away.
- Keep up the productive and creative work Chnitke (talk) 06:58, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- I've reverted your additions on the basis of MOS:OVERLINK; adding 8 sources to verify one claim is far too many, and draws questions of why are so many sources needed to support one claim. "Are they weak sources?" "Do they barely mention the claim?" "Why so many?"... questions like these. As a rule of thumb, adding more than 3 sources per claim is generally not recommended in most cases (unless something is very controversial, or the claim is complex). If any of the sources you added help support other claims or parts of the article, move them to where they are most effective, but if you really need 8 sources to support a claim on a noncontroversial topic, maybe you need to reconsider what is being claimed. - You are absolutely right.
- Thank you for the professional guidelines.
- I hope I didn't burden you too much.
- I will post only a few confirmations about the novel. Chnitke (talk) 16:22, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- I would be happy if, with these corrections, I came closer to your well-meaning teachings.
- And that I am close to your most professional pointers.
- Thank you very much.
- I would like to bookmark this page, because the novel was declared the novel of the year by the "Takec" foundation in North Macedonia and is quite popular and in demand.https://umno.mk/promovirano-srpskoto-izdanie-na/ Chnitke (talk) 16:57, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
