I see that you have added a good source to several New Mexico articles. How about adding some content from the book to the articles? Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 17:34, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

well the first thing that you learn is to sign your messages to other editors by using four of these. ~ That is what produces my user name, the date and time. Carptrash (talk) 02:26, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

the two articles that I am working on

are First Battle of Mora and Second Battle of Mora. I recently drove through Mora, New Mexico and wanted to take pictures that could go with those articles but I could not locate any of the sites. So any information that you could discover that might help me would be way cool. Do you like my picture of the Battle of Embudo Pass? I had to work very hard to get it and am willing to do the same at Mora if I can learn what to shoot. Carptrash (talk) 02:30, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work. It's the "fort" there that the rebels withdrew to that I want to locate. Pretty good chance that there is nothing left of it, but . ............. Carptrash (talk) 05:06, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When I went through Mora I stopped at the library but they were not very in-the-know. I was also looking for Ceran St. Vrain's grave, but they drew a blank on that too. The museum, one of the many mills that were built in the area was closed or about to close and I did not stop. But that is a great idea and PLAN A for the next trip through. There is a

Mormon Battalion monument between here and Albuquerque and I discovered another one in Pueblo, Colorado. Perhaps the article on them should include a gallery of pictures of these monuments? I am big on that sort of thing and have had more pictures tossed out of wikipedia than most editor have in it. Still you might as well include what ever information you get in as many different articles as possible. That's Carptrash Rule # 7. Carptrash (talk) 22:52, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PS Where in AZ? I head over there to Phoenix on Tuesday for 5 or so days. Carptrash (talk) 22:55, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
