[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Rob Ford, you may be blocked from editing. EncyclopediaUpdaticus (talk) 03:20, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Rob Ford, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. EncyclopediaUpdaticus (talk) 18:29, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
Edit-warring policy
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rob Ford. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rostz (talk) 12:49, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Dispute resolution
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is "Rob Ford". Thank you. --ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 23:12, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
- Please comment at Talk:Rob Ford#Addition_of_current_event_to_.22Controversies.22_section.2C_please. I'd like to get full protection removed. ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 15:08, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Jack Layton
[edit]That paragraph was attributed, and appropriately worded. What you are doing is simply vandalism. You have been reported for that. ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 23:47, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

- Lemme get this straight. I simply posted that after all the crap the media has slung
- at Ford, I mentioned (and sourced) that Ford's polling increased despite the media
- slagging he got.
- You claimed that this is NPOV and deleted it.
- Yet you're fine with pretty much the same thing being said for Jack Layton after his Massage Parlour incident.
- Is there a Wiki entry for "Large-assed Hypocrite"?

- Enjoy your run of terror. But there are rules on Wikipedia for editing, and you are not following them. ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 00:10, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm learning. and it's really a matter of persistence/stamina. So yeah, if I have to come back to this page 1000 times and delete the crap you've slagged 999 times. I'll do it.
- I've got all the time in the world.

Wikipedia Help Survey
[edit]Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.
Thank you for your time,

Content dispute at Rob Ford
[edit]I have protected the page Rob Ford for 24 hours because you and Alaney2k appear to be engaged in a slow-motion edit war. You were both very close to being blocked for edit warring instead. I don't want to see either of you going back to reverting or deleting blocks of text without reaching some sort of consensus on the article talk page first.
If there are content issues that you can't hash out on the talk page – and I suspect this might be the case – then the appropriate course is to seek outside guidance at an appropriate venue – like the BLP noticeboard or reliable sources noticeboard – not to keep reverting each other.
Incidentally, this sort of edit to an article is never appropriate. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 14:44, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
