[edit]

Hello, Clarefinin,

Thanks for your good work on Myra Mimlitsch-Gray! I'm especially glad to know another academic interested in researching artists' bios. I've been working away at a list of draft bios that I prepared for Art+Feminism edit-a-thons in 2016 and 2017. Most of the names on that list were suggested by Art/Architecture faculty at the University of Oregon, and I used a draft format that would encourage new editors to find the kind of information acceptable in a Wikipedia bio of an artist. Most of these have at least one reference, but given the length of time that has passed, some of the links have probably expired. If you find any names there that interest you, feel free to edit any of the bios.

And welcome back to editing.

Cheers! – Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 01:26, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Grand'mere Eugene: Thank you for all your help with this page, I feel a little rusty after not playing with Wikipedia for the past few years, and your edits are very much appreciated! I checked out your list and saw at least one name (Iris Eichenberg) that is on my own list of artists I'd like to see have pages. At some point in the not too distant future I hope to get to it. Thank you again, and I am sure we'll cross paths again given our overlapping interests. Best- Clarefinin (talk) 14:21, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
