A tag has been placed on Seven Minutes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Non-Dropframe talk 22:25, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your hangon rationale

[edit]

You wrote, holy cow I was just using that as a placeholder.

You should know that, the way Wikipedia is set up, placeholders are basically useless. As such, per WP:BLANK, they are deleted on sight.

Feel free to contact me if you need more help. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 22:31, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you for pointing that out. I also put an explanation on the page's talk page that you might want to see. -Clomen Nature (talk) 22:43, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Clomen Nature, as you've noticed, I've nominated your page for a speedy deletion due to the fact that publishing copyrighted material here on WP is against our policies. I'm just writing you a little note because I've been around for a while and can clearly tell that you are just here to help out. Because of this, I'll take the time to help you out. Here's a tip: if you want to create an article, you can use your userpage like your own personal sandbox. Or, you can create a subpage. Here, I'll show you how. just click on this redlink: user:Clomen Nature/sandbox. Write your article here. You can experiment and make everything look just right without being under any time constraints. Then, when you're ready, copy all the text from the edit area into the new article's edit area and you're done. If you have any questions, or if you'd like me to look over your article before you publish it in the Article namespace, just write me a little note on my talk page or leave me one of these {{tb|Clomen Nature}} and leave your note here. --Non-Dropframe talk 22:35, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh wow that's nifty! Thanks for the advice, I'll do that for this article. What should I do to the page in the meantime? -Clomen Nature (talk) 22:43, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't worry about it. It may or may not be deleted but as long as it's not edit protected (which it shouldn't be), you'll be able to re-create it. Just make sure you read WP:NOTE to make sure you establish notability for your subject. Other info can be found at WP:MOS and I'll always happy to help. --Non-Dropframe talk 22:46, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok will do, thanks! -Clomen Nature (talk) 23:01, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
