Information icon Hello Dedy2109. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Draft:Job-Q.com. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Dedy2109. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Dedy2109|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Hello Brianhe,
Thank you for your message. I am not compensated for the edits on Draft:Job-Q.com, however, it is true that I have COI on the edit (that I have now declared in the Draft_talk:Job-Q.com and User:Dedy2109).Dedy2109 (talk) 11:51, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your prompt disclosure. However in this you declare that you are the owner of the company, if I'm reading it correctly. You are then, or expect to be, paid for your contributions, and that should be part of the disclosure, don't you think? I.e. why would the {{paid}} template not be appropriate for your userpage, rather than {{connected contributor}} which seems to tell a bit less than the full story? – Brianhe (talk) 07:21, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again, @Brianhe:, I was referring to WP:COI part, WP:DISCLOSE. It shows example of company owner declaration using {{connected contributor}} (Again, I am not being paid for the contribution, nor financially gain anything from the contribution.)

::::* Example of a financial COI: suggesting an edit about your own company.

If you become involved in an article where you have a general COI (including a financial COI) that does not involve being paid to edit Wikipedia, place the {{connected contributor}} template at the top of affected talk pages.
