Speedy deletion nomination of Front of Syndicalist Students
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Front of Syndicalist Students requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - The FES was a notable organization during the later years of the Franco regime. While endorsing Falangist principles, they opposed the Franco regime. Notable members of the FES include former Spanish Prime Minister José María Aznar or Juan María Fernández y Krohn, who tried to assassinate John Paul II in 1982. It also was the youth branch of the Independent Spanish Falange, a former Spanish political party. Deertine (talk) 11:52, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- If you are contesting this speedy deletion, you cannot do so here. You must go to Front of Syndicalist Students and click on the button that says "Contest this speedy deletion", then make your case. You have not done so as yet. Dwpaul Talk 13:36, 4 April 2015 (UTC)

Regarding the "Membership history" section in Podemos (Spanish political party)
[edit]I think you yourself pointed it out. I believe it's not irrelevant to highlight the membership evolution of a party that is barely one year old and is already the second political force in the country in terms of membership, ahead of PSOE and behind PP, specially when that membership growth is frequently being reported by the media. So, not actually comparable to PP, the CDU or the Democratic Party; the first being 25 years old, the second being over 60-70 and the latter being nearly 200 years old. Furthermore, those edits are mostly not mine; I just completed them as of lately and reverted your removal of it (specially since it was left unexplained), but several more users have worked on it. If you believe that section should be removed, you can bring the issue to the article's talk page, since it's likely that removing the section without notice as you did the first time may create discussion with other users as well, not just with me. Cheers. Impru20 (talk) 10:00, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Move issues
[edit]I'm trying to figure out what happened with Pablo Iglesias and Pablo Iglesias Posse. Please don't go around moving and copying stuff unless you are sure what you are doing: this edit does not preserve the history, because it's a simple copy and paste. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 00:41, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- OK, here's what you're going to do, Deertine, if you want the proper credit. Type in "Pablo Iglesias" and created it copying the content from this edit-- then you have your dab page, and it properly gives credit where credit's due. I think I should really delete that one edit and then make that the only history of the new disambiguation page, but I don't have enough aspirin at home to figure out how to do that. Next time, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, for instance. Drmies (talk) 00:54, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:42, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
