Discussing in talk pages
[edit]Hello.
Just wanted to give you a heads up about the discussion that you started in Talk:List of video editing software. In Wikipedia, new discussions go to the bottom, not top. And your discussion topic must have a second level heading, not third level. (Enclosed between a pair of two equal signs, not three, as is the case with the title of this message.)
Best regards,

- Really? I am curious as to who he was but you can see WP:TALK for the official policy: It says the top heading is the second level (==). First level heading is reserved for internal Wikipedia use.
- Of course, if you are surprised, I imagine WP:BRD will surprise you even more. That's how we edit in Wikipedia but it surprised me the most. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 16:14, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hello again. His edit summary says "three" yes, but his edit itself actually makes them two. Still, that article had a lot of problems. I am not sure if I have seen all these problems at once in one article. My friend, if you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, you should seriously start reading our core part of help documentation. Please visit Wikipedia:WELCOME get yourself started. If you had any questions, post a message in my talk page or, better yet, visit Wikipedia:Teahouse. (Teahouse is better because there are a lot of guys there and a group can answer better than one.) Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 17:02, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
June 2023: Need for Consensus
[edit]Please stop editing out "right wing" from Tamara Lich until consensus is reached. To go against consensus is problematic behaviour and could lead to administrator action being taken against you. Note also that you have a minority view point here, and there is a need to cite edits. So don't add in "freedom fighter" and such like unless reliable sources support that. This is a warning. CT55555(talk) 17:21, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
June 2023
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:Tamara Lich, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. CT55555(talk) 17:23, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Tamara Lich. Do not edit out "right wing" until consensus is reached. Do not use Rebel News as it is not a reliable source. (more infor on reliable sources WP:RS, more info on Rebel News: Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 316) CT55555(talk) 17:33, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- Talk to me on the Tamara Lich talk page so everyone can read/see. Dgeeraerts (talk) 17:44, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
